Ann Elliott - Managing Director

Having held director level Marketing and Operational roles with Pizza Hut, Beefeater and Whitbread, Ann has a wealth of experience across the leisure, hospitality and tourism industry.

Ann founded Elliott Independent in 2001 which, in 2006, became Elliott People. She leads from the front and heads up a talented and successful team of professionals she is truly proud of.

Nina Bentley - Senior Account Director

Nina has nearly 20 years of experience across all sectors of the leisure, hospitality and tourism industry. She has held senior Marketing and Catering positions at Initial Catering & Initial Hospitality Services, Allied Domecq, Marstons, First Leisure Corporation and Compass Group Europe.

Her particular strengths lie in brand and concept development, interpreting and bringing to life new market trends, CSR, and all things operational.

Rachel Blake - Account Director

Rachel has nearly 15 years of agency experience working in both B2B and B2C sectors and has previously worked for a full service marketing and advertising agency. Rachel heads up our B2B team and has experience across a wide range of industries from hospitality and leisure to IT, telecommunications and automotive.

Her experience includes advertising, direct mail, sales promotion, digital, PR, events and internal communications.

Duncan Gallagher, PR Director

Duncan has over 15 years PR experience both in-house and agency. During that time he has lead consumer, corporate and business to business campaigns for clients across the globe, including Ford, Compass Group, Microsoft, Kia, Travis Perkins and Wincanton. 

He specialises in corporate strategy development, crisis and issues management and media training.

Andrea Mason, PR Manager

Andrea has over 15 years' experience working across consumer, trade, national, regional, broadcast and online media for the Travelsphere Group, one of the UK's leading operators of escorted holidays worldwide.  

Her particular strengths lie in her ability to devise, manage and implement clearly defined and achievable PR strategies to budget across a broad spectrum of media. She has extensive knowledge gained from working both in-house and alongside a number of PR agencies across numerous campaigns.

Andrea's experience also extends to crisis and event management and she has also managed major brand re-launches for singles holiday specialist, Just You and the return to trade of Page & Moy holidays.

Jo Lynch, Account Manager

Jo has been with Elliott People since 2005, having previously worked for Barclays Bank, latterly working directly with clients in the Bank's Corporate Finance team. Jo is responsible for our B2C team and with particular interest in pubs and brewing. She is a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers, and of the Beer and Women forum.

Joanna Harris, Account Executive

Joanna has worked with high profile clients including Whitbread and Beacon. With the ability to juggle various tasks in a pressured environment, she brings experience of print management in both the B2B and B2C arenas. Charlotte Wheels, PR Executive

Charlotte is a recent PR graduate with specific radio experience. She comes from a radio PR background and her experience includes idea generation, project management of radio campaigns, media liaison and creative copy writing. Her clients have included Vue Cinemas, Slimming Word and Brita.

Ian Lacey, Tourism Market Analyst

Ian researches and develops our knowledge and strategy for the tourism market under the Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme in association with the University of Surrey.

After some years working in financial services, Ian followed his passion for travel and retrained for a second career in tourism, recently completing an MSc in Tourism Marketing at Surrey.

Ian has worked in New Zealand for a tour operator, managed a long-haul travel agency and built up frontline knowledge of the visitor attraction sector through his work for the National Trust.

Terry Ainger, PA to the M.D

With over 20 years' experience as a PA, Terri is one of the newest members of our team. For the last 13 years Terri has worked for a large international advertising company in Canary Wharf, so is used to working in challenging and fast moving environments.

Debs joined us in 2005, prior to which she spent 15 years in service reception at a Peugeot Dealership. She has recently become part of the B2C team and keeps us on our toes providing much needed support.
