Elliott People is an agency like no other. We only operate in leisure and hospitality. There are agencies by the dozen, but we’re not like them. Our vision is to be the agency everyone loves working with and for!

Our senior team comprises of Ann Elliott, Rachel Blake, Nina Bentley and Bryan Brown (our Chairman) who work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals with extensive sales, marketing and operations experience.

  • Ann founded Elliott Independent in June 2001
  • With the business growing it evolved into Elliott People in 2006
  • Ann was Marketing Director at Pizza Hut for 3 years and Marketing and Planning Director for Beefeater for 6 years
  • She has also had significant operational experience:
    4 years as the field Operations Director for Whitbread with profit responsibility for over 280 pubs

29th August 2008:  Ann Elliott is one of the most influential women in the pub trade - it's official !
Leading pub magazine The Morning Advertiser, has named Ann as one of the 30 most influential women in the business based on her extensive experience, drive and passion for the industry.

Image  Senior Director – Nina Bentley

Heading up this new division for Elliott People, Nina joins us with over 16 years experience across all sectors of the industry. Working most recently as a Marketing Director for Initial Catering and Initial Hospital Services, Nina has also held senior marketing and catering positions at Allied Domecq, Marstons, First Leisure Corporation and Compass Group Europe. Her particular strengths lie in brand and concept development, interpreting and bringing to life new market trends, CSR, and all things operational.  When she's not creating new concepts and increasing sales, Nina enjoys travel and discovering new culinary delights from around the globe, and keeping fit on the dance floor!

Image Senior Director – Rachel Blake

Rachel has over 12 years of agency experience working in both B2B and B2C sectors.  She previously worked for a full service marketing and advertising agency.  Rachel has experience across a wide range of industries from hospitality and leisure to IT, telecommunications and automotive.  Her experience includes advertising, direct mail, sales promotion, digital, PR, events and internal communications.  When not tackling the day job, Rachel is a keen cyclist (with four bikes to choose from she's never quite sure which to take out on the country lanes) and enjoys working on her allotment, tending to whatever fruit and vegetables have decided to grow that year!

On the operational side, we also work with associate Matthew Ashmore. Matthew has played a key role in the establishment and ongoing development of many key brands including Hungry Horse (where he was Operations Director), Travel Inn, Brewers Fayre, Wayside Inn, Costa Coffee and Beefeater.
