From the M40 Northbound - Exit at J9 (Bicester) and turn right onto the A41 towards Bicester
- As you approach Bicester DO NOT follow Buckingham signs (the bypass takes you well out of the way) - just continue straight on though the outskirts of the town, passing Bicester North railway station on your right
- This road becomes the A4421 to Buckingham
- After approx 5-6 miles turn right on the dual carriageway - this is the A421 to Buckingham
- * Continue around Buckingham on this road
- At the last roundabout on the bypass continue on the A421 towards Bletchley / Milton Keynes
- After a further 4-5 miles at the first roundabout you come to, turn right onto the B4033 to Great Horwood
- Follow in to the village - pass the Crown on your right and then the Swan on your left
- About 50 metres past the Swan turn left into Spring Lane
- Follow past all the parked cars (there are usually several!) and follow Spring Lane around to the right and downhill
- At the bottom of the hill, after the modern houses on your right, is a little lane to the right - there is a sign saying 'Spring Cottage' with an arrow pointing down the lane
- We are at the end of the lane through the double gates - the office door is the black door on your left
From the M40 Southbound - Exit at J11 (Banbury) and turn second left onto the A422 towards Brackley
- In Brackley turn right onto the A43 towards Oxford
- After 2 miles turn left onto the A421 towards Buckingham
- Follow this road right through to Buckingham

From the M1 Southbound - Leave the motorway at J14 and turn right towards Milton Keynes
- At the first roundabout go straight across (this is the H6 Childs Way)
- At the next roundabout turn left onto the V11 Tongwell Street
- At the second roundabout turn right onto the H8 Standing Way - this is the A421 to Buckingham
- **Stay on this road right the way across Milton Keynes
- As you leave the outskirts you will pass a large Suzuki factory on the right - continue for a further 3 miles, straight over 2 roundabouts - at the third roundabout turn left onto the B4033 towards Great Horwood and Buckingham
- Follow this road into the village - it will bear around to the right (passing The Crown) and then to the left (passing The Swan)
