We strongly believe that business is about more than making money. It’s also about responsibility to those around us, and in particular those in need.
That’s why we encourage everyone at Elliott People to get involved and support charities close to their hearts.
Our B2C Account Manager, Jo Lynch, took part in the Flora London Marathon 2009. She described the experience as "amazing, with a fantastic crowd. I was so emotional I cried at the end and came away with one very large blister and sunburn!"
Jo successfully completed the marathon in a respectable 6 hours 37 minutes – all of her hard work and training clearly paid off! On a personal level it was a very positive experience for Jo, as she still runs once or twice a week, usually for about 2 to 5 miles a time.
Jo raised just under £3,000 for Breast Cancer Care – a fantastic effort for a very worthy cause.
Many thanks to all who sponsored her and huge congratulations to Jo, what an achievement!

This year Milton Keynes based Performing Arts Academy, Spectrum Arts UK, is providing an excellent facility for children in the local area, a Summer School.
Ann Elliott is supporting the cause by sponsoring a child to participate in the week long event, which aims to really make a difference to the lives of children who haven’t had a holiday this year and who have a very difficult home situation.
Ann called it "a fantastic chance to help local children fill their time with positive activities over the long summer holidays”.
